Marking Ring-Vein Graft

• Marking Rings

• The aorta to coronary saphenous vein graft is widely used for the treatment of coronary atherosclerosis. Assessment of the post-operative result requires direct catheterization of the graft, and locating the proximal orifice can be difficult.
• The Vein Graft Ring is designed to be placed around the aortic end of the graft prior to completion of the proximal anastomosis. After completion of the proximal anastomosis the ring is sutured to the aorta by interrupted 5-0 or 6-0 sutures.
• The ring has been found helpful to the cardiologist in locating the aortic end of the graft.
• The rings are made of 20 Ga., type 316L medical grade stainless steel, available in diameters of 8.0, 10.0, 12.0 and 14.0 mm.
