The Arrow^™ EZ-IO^™ Intraosseous Access Procedure Tray is an intraosseous access solution that is simple, sterile, and designed for multiple care settings. Built to increase efficiency and accessibility across the hospital, this single-use tray has everything healthcare professionals need to gain access at the speed of life. The tray includes the Arrow^™ EZ-IO^™ Single-Use Power Driver, which is sterile and ready when you need it. The driver features the same motor as the reusable power driver and a breakaway battery compartment to recycle batteries per institution protocols. The tray also includes a 15-gauge sterile 15 mm Arrow^™ EZ-IO^™ Needle, for anytime in which vascular access is difficult to obtain in emergent, urgent or medically necessary cases for up to 24 hours. For patients ≥ 12 years old, the device may be extended for up to 48 hours when alternate intravenous access is not available or readily established. Approved insertion sites for adults (≥ 22 years old) include the bilateral proximal humerus, bilateral proximal tibia, and bilateral distal tibia. Approved insertion sites for pediatrics (≤ 21 years old) include the bilateral proximal humerus, bilateral proximal tibia, bilateral distal tibia, and bilateral distal femur.
