• The Grunwald Suture Guide Holder, when used with the Gabbay-Frater^™ Suture Guides, affords a convenient method of keeping numerous sutures properly aligned during cardiac valve replacement procedures.
• The holder can be positioned directly over the sternotomy retractor. Three spring clips on the underside of the holder secure it to the surgical drapes.
• Three sterile, disposable Gabbay-Frater^™ Suture Guides may be placed on the retaining posts of the holder either before or after placement of the holder over the sternotomy.
• The Grunwald Holder provides a flat, constant and secure surface for the suture guides and speeds placement by eliminating the need for using numerous towel clips that can also tend to clutter the operative field.
• The Grunwald Suture Guide Holder is made of stainless steel and may be steam autoclaved.
